School Districts: Many school districts will be providing meal services. Children will eat free, and must be present to claim their meal. They DO NOT have to be a student from that county. Costs of adult meals (if applicable) vary from district to district. Times vary from district to district.
YMCA: Families can pick up their child’s free Grab & Go lunch at these locations from 12-1 p.m.:

Vowell’s grocery store: Vowell’s grocery store in Byram offers a free breakfast snack and a free snack lunch for children while our schools are closed. Breakfast will be distributed from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. Lunch will be distributed from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Keep in mind that a child must be present.
If you have school-aged children at home alone during this time and would like a meal delivered to them during the day, Byram Police ask that you fill out a form. Click here for more information.

Walmart: From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday for customers aged 60 and older. This will start one hour before the store opens. Walmart’s Pharmacies and Vision Centers will also be open during this time.
Winn Dixie: Winn Dixie’s stores and pharmacies will dedicate 8am - 9am to senior shoppers, Monday - Friday
Dollar General: Dollar Generals will be dedicating the first hour of the shopping day to senior customers
